"Fantastic hotel and really lovely staff. The breakfast was good and because it was cooked in small batches, hot and fresh. Coffee served in a cafetiere and tea in a teapot. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was large with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. Bathroom was large and supplied with shower gel, shampoo and hand wash. Large bath towels were a bonus. Parking outside the hotel is £6 for 24 hours with a ticket from reception. I would...

"The one thing that stands out to me is there is no obvious area to stop the car, unload baggage and check in. I found a small lot behind the building and left my car there as I walked back to the front to check in. The car park is actually across the street and once that was explained to me it wasn’t too much of a bother. "

"Only stayed here after arriving late from a flight to Manchester. As we arrived late we had to follow a self check in process involving codes and keys.. bit painful in the dark after a long flight. Parking was full when we got there other than a disabled place that was an issue as there is nowhere else to park with easy access. Room OK - but think more of a B&B than hotel.
