"Incredible service from the proprietor. When we arrived, the car park was full as there was a large wedding taking place. He moved his own car so we could get parked and whilst we were there, he and his team couldn’t have been more welcoming. 100% recommend The Belmore and will certainly stay again."

"Nice rooms, good dinner, good breakfast, hit and miss service experience, but all okay in the grand scheme of things. Full marks for the check in experience, 80% for dinner service and 50% for breakfast experience...the lady and the gentlemen looked upset or perhaps very business like! "

"Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. "

"The staff members were so amazingly helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler with a cane I struggle with stairs and excessive walking but the staff helped me to my room when I arrived and Katen even helped we all the way to the train platform across the way when I left. While this location is remote the charm and guality mke it a beautiful destination stay and the food was to die for. I had one minor issue in my room and they resolved it while I was out so 5/5"

"A lot bigger than i realised. It was a great suprise. Good size room, big shower room. Where the hotel shines is by doing all the simple thing right. - high pressure shower - 2 chairs in room - bowl of sweets - comfy king size bed - good quality pillows - good soundproofing - comfortable temp. - friendly, helpful staff - good quality, fresh breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed staying. My only slight criticism is that the otherwise extensive food menu only has two fish dishesand not as varied as...

"Warm and very clean accommadation, exvellent breakfast, staff so helpful . In the room maybe some different teas (mint camomile etc ) I bring my own as I dont bring breakfast tea, but I'm just being picky. Crrtainly reccomend staying her. "

"The one night stay was perfect, no complaints at all, bed is a super king bed, very comfortable, bathroom is really nice as well. Overall worth a stay here even just for one night or however long you wish to. The staff were friendly at all times and made us feel welcome. Will come back again"

"The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back. "Beautiful historic inn in picturesque countryside, really friendly and kind staff, cosy clean comfortable rooms and delicious meals."

"The hotel is very picturesque and characterful. The room was well appointed and decorated. You can eat downstairs in the pub and there was a good menu choice and a range of ales and lagers. Our food was very tasty. Breakfast options are limited. "

"Lovely property, very well equipped, loved the wood burner, many extras washing up liquid, washing powder , hand wash , logs , fire lighters, toilet roll ect. Unfortunately to many stairs for me ."

"The venue is in a beautiful historic building. The facilities are great including a pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The rooms had massive comfy beds and were cleaned daily with plenty of towels and extra tea, coffee and biscuits. My only quibble is that the rooms didn’t have internet tvs. "

Excellent stay at the Double Tree

"A truly excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality with their friendly, helpful demeanor. The signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in was a delightful touch – and the reception staff even treated me to an extra one! The room was immaculately presented and of high quality, perfect for my overnight business stay. The hotel's restaurant deserves special mention, serving food that exceeded my expectations in both quality and presentation. While my stay was brief, the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout. The convenient airport location combined with such outstanding service makes this DoubleTree an excellent choice for business travelers. Grand traditional comfortable hotel

"Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return. "
