"Super convenient location from the train station (almost literally 100 steps) and to the firefly squid (hotaruika) museum (about 6 blocks). Staff speak minimal English and the restaurant seemed to be vooked for a private event one night (and there just arent a lot of restaurants in walking distance, let alone open on a Tuesday). The room was tidy and efficient. The beds were low, and nicely firm."

"Well what a 10 days that was. Fantastic from the moment we stepped into the front door to the moment we were dropped at the bus stop to leave. Excellent position to the lifts at happo one. And don’t miss the Friday night buffet (make sure u book early). The breaks and coffee every morning became my highlight each day. Set the tone for such a great day. And finally the onsen. What a great way to experience the onsen in Japan. Was always clean and super restorative after a day on the slopes. Well...

"The beds cover and bed sheet slide off in the night with movement, which was bothersome. The staff was very kind. Area had limited food options. Overall the rooms were clean and people were kind. "
