"We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. "Once over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging. There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff. "We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."
