"Unfortunately, we were on the 2nd floor right above the tavern so we could hear the music until they closed, and the Alamo area right outside is being redone so we could hear them when they started work around 6:30 am. However, we want the work done and the room rate was significantly lower. The staff was very good at front desk and Miles at Valet was very good as well. "Stayed 2 nights with my wife and was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the hotel was given the age. The way they have upkept the hotel is delightful. Our room was clean and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. "

"I didn't like that I had to pay $10 for parking per day and there was not any security guarding. What was I paying for? Hotel could use some small cosmetic updates. Pool bar/hut was closed and looked like it had been closed for a while. Don't advertise the amenity and not have it available. The glass between the pools was worn/warped/dirty looking."
