"Everything we expected and more,staff very helpful room had all we wanted,except the loop i found myself in trying to set up an account to get wifi log in ,however it didnt detract from our stay of one night.Very clean,breakfast was very good with a great choice,will be back again.Thanks."

"Stayed for one night as our son was attending a swimming clinic at GL1 in Gloucester. Great to be able to check in at 2pm rather than the usual 3-4pm. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Would definitely stay again."

"This is the third Christmas my brother and I have stayed at the Leonardo and it just gets better and better. The staff are all outstanding, nothing it too much trouble and they are all cheerful and helpful. My brother loves to swim and I love all the places I can hide away to read. We also visit at other times but Christmas is the best"

"Weekend stay at Thornbury Castle. Fascinating, historic castle. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent and breakfast likewise. Our room was at the top of its own tower, with a fantastic bathroom. Great shower, although a bath would have been nice. The public rooms are amazing, with lots of character. Bit cold this weekend, but it was snowing outside."
