"We only had a few nights at the Motor House, while we attended to some business locally, but would have liked to stay longer! Absolutely splendid accommodation. Lots of space, beautifully set out with everything you might need. Beautiful location too. Very quiet with great views all round."

Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites. "Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."

"My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Jane's house. It is a lovely cosy house with everything we needed for our stay and very central for visiting the main spots of the Forest of Dean. Jane is a super friend and helpful host and great with communicating. We would definitely stay again."
