"What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. "

"Lovely stay in The Ruskin room Good shower Fluffy towels Tea and coffee and cute bottle milk Just missing a few biscuits( cheeky) Single paned shash windows bit noisy/ cold in the bathroom/ bay window .Lovely scenery 4pm bit late for checking in and would like a 11am check out would be beneficial. Friendly staff and lovely cleaning lady (sorry didnt get your name) Keep up the good work! 👍 "

"Grateful to the Greystoke for stepping in at the last minute after a previous booking elsewhere was cancelled. A quiet location but close enough for walking into the town. No problems booking in or during the 3 days stay. Beware of the big breakfasts - you may not want to move afterwards - but they set you up nicely for the day of exploring the area. A great view from the street on a crisp sunny day."

"Nice sized property with plenty of space and very well equipped. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 small children and dogs. The views were beautiful and the house was very clean. "

"Old apartment block but internal of the unit was alright. Good location, close to Sainsbury’s and a few restaurants, some better ones need to book in advance though. There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking. Tight parking bays at the rear. A mug was not cleaned at all, presumably by some previous users. The double duvet cover was teared at the...
