"Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Great hotel, great location and lovely staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Bus 591, 555 stops just outside the hotel and can take you anywhere whether it’s Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick all very easy to commute. Some great restaurants around. Staff extremely friendly at the reception. Breakfast top notch - 10/10 for Manuel who takes orders at the brekkie area , always smiling. Would highly recommend. "

"We chose this hotel for its location it was convenient for all our needs.The hotel was quiet and clean and the staff were very pleasant and greeted you when coming or going from the property...it also had a swimming pool but we didnt use it this time .overall the room was clean and comfortable and had a kettle for tea and coffee making and a complimentary bottle of still and sparkling water .We will definitely be staying at the hotel again in the future"

"Second time staying here. Stayed in same room 110 which is one of the biggest and great views over the lake. The room is big so can stretch out. Only down side was a shelf to put your clothes but it was fine. Nespresso coffee machine in room. All facilities lovely and staff all great. Couple bits a little dated and still needs tidying up but nothing to worry about. Great location hotel and ample parking. Look forward to stay again in same room which we like for the space and views. "

"This place was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious for dinner, but I gave it a four rating overall because the interaction with staff did not seem that welcoming. The rooms were wonderful and comfortable beds. Door exited right out to the parking lot and lake which was nice and the town was very quaint. We walked up here from patterdale from the Coast to Coast trail which was well worth the extra 10 minute walk. I was disappointed not to see any Coast to Coast memorabilia in the...
