"Our stay in Greemount was great. The property located a bit out of the city that makes the area more quiet. The room was spacious ,very clean and with comfortable beds. It had a functional fan and we absolutely didn't need AC nor teh fan as the area doesn't get too warm. The property is family owned and it is very cute and well maintained. The room we had was better than the images. There is a small sitting area inside and one outside that we enjoyed a lot using them. The kitchen is a great plus...

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"Rooms are cabin like. No air conditioning or pool but evenings were cooler. Lots of different tours and shopping experiences. Hard to park in town but found a good restaurant with a parking lot. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable "

"We loved our stay at the Tree House Hotel and would have loved to stay longer. The Tree House is wonderful and has everything you need. The coffee in the morning is such a great treat. The property is beautiful and walkable and you see a lot of wildlife right there. We loved everything about it!! The best stay in all of Costa Rica for us. The night walks were great and educational too and I was so happy to be able to do it multiple nights and see different things each night. "

"As a female traveller, I felt completely safe here and would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Monteverde. Great place for a solo traveller with a communal kitchen to help keep down expenses of eating out. WiFi in all the rooms. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful 😊 My only complaint would be the floors in my room hadn't been cleaned (but in fairness it's a 2 star hostel, not a 5 star hotel). "Stayed 2 nights. Family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The staff is very courteous and willing to help with anything from suggestions on tourist stops to restaurants. The location is very close to the cloud forest. Yay! The rooms are well cleaned and comfortable. You’re surrounded by trees/forest (very scenic). As a bonus, we had monkey’s playing outside in the trees next to us! Highly recommend!!"
