"We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Given the price, we did not expect much but as we needed a place to sleep and go in the morning all we hoped for was a clean, safe place. The Hotel Marbella's staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean (and all in all what we actually needed for this 1 night) and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is a few minutes to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Considering the price, I believe the hotel over-delivered."

"Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller "

"This is a no frills hostel in a very central location on the Plaza de las Flores. There are no reception staff on site but communication by WhatsApp was good. I was given the option of rooms and took the option of a ‘noisier room’ which was immediately available. This room overlooked the adjacent restaurants and was quite noisy up til closing time. "We have been staying in this price level throughout Andalusia and the quality of this room was by far the best. Fancy bed and fancy mini balcony overlooking gorgeous pool setting.
