"A beautiful modern beachfront hotel just a 5 min stroll away from Marbella old town. Minor hiccups: at check in they said we’d have complimentary daily half liter water, the next day they said this was just a one off for the first day, then the day after they changed that again. The breakfast buffet is great, but the ham they call “iberico de bellota” is clearly “Serrano” (much cheaper) instead, based on color, texture, lack of marbling, flavor etc"

"This was my second time staying here and I would come back again. Staff are so friendly and helpful, especially the pool bar guys who cannot do enough for you. Love the pool, rooms are big and well equipped. Lots of lovely restaurants at the beach a two minute walk away."

"The friendly staff checked us in quickly and on our arrival to our room we fond a bottle of Cava and chocolates! This is my second stay (I had to bring my wife to take in the beachfront atmosphere and great location for exploring the shops, bars and restaurants along the beach walkway). We even walked to the castle! Thanks to all the staff at Occidental Fuengirola!"

"Loved the pool area, especially Sun Society pool. Balinese beds were great. Pool was cool but refreshing. Food at breakfast and dinner on half board was excellent. Getting drinks or food at the pool bars was the only negative we experienced. Staff were lovely and did their best but there was not enough for demand at the busy times of lunch and pre- dinner. As such this meant long wait times. We had lunch once in the hotel at the start of our stay but did not enjoy due to the poor quality of the food and high price. €20 for nachos that were inedible due to being drowned in sauce. "
