"Staff was very nice and helpful, but it took us a while to get in our room because the door lock mechanism needed to have its batteries changed. Loved the nespresso machine and it was a much better Continental breakfast than others I’ve seen. The beds were comfortable but the hallways were dark and the rugs have seen better days. "

"Family of three, stayed a couple of times to go skiing in Tahoe area. Pros: Great location, affordable price and pretty clean overall. Very convenient underground parking with elevator. Accommodating and friendly staff. Cons: Desperately needs renovation - carpets are in stains and very worn. Walls do not look very well either. "

"A step or two above other recent stays (looking at you Best Western Stagecoach Inn). Clean, modern and fresh. A breakfast worthy of the name and worth eating (still a ways away from a Scandic). It was an overnight ski stop and was convenient enough to get to Palisades with a handy Raley's down the road."

"Overall a good value for the location, but it's definitely a standard motel room. Beds are alright, parking was convenient, and there's a fridge and microwave in the room. The rooms aren't super lavish or updated, there's stains/marks on the walls and patches on the carpets. No mold or weird smells, but definitely not a snazzy place."

"We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). The room had a bedroom with a king bed and a sofa in the main room. It just fit my family of 5, but with 2 teens on the sofa pullout and my 9yo daughter in the king bed with us. Overall, it functioned well enough for a great price. It's next door to Safeway, CVS, and many food options, which was convenient when it snowed heavily and didn't want to drive. The...

"The inn is conveniently located a few hundred feet off highway 80. Despite this proximity, it is very quite. We had no traffic noise in the room (#310). Accommodations are basic / rustic. The room is not updated and a little rundown, but it is clean and provides the necessities for a short stay. The inn istself is very basic as well, but in good working condition. There is a bar / brewery and a little convenince store a few steps away. Breakfast is very basic and we skipped it in favor of local diners. The staff is friendly and efficient. We stayed 2 nights and the room was not turned over. Not sure why. Not a big deal for our needs though. Overall a convenient stay and less expensive than other spots, especially on ski break week."
