My biggest concern was having to listen to a constant dialogue between the staff at breakfast time complaining to each other about their other colleagues and their shifts. "Spent the night here with my partner it was amazing. Nigel and Robina the owners were very friendly and welcoming they took an imterest in us as their guests. They showed us to our room and were always around. Breakfast was a full english and was 10/10. The room was cute spacious with a lovely bathroom. The estate itself is large but is in good condition. I would return"

"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...

"When we arrived, he wasn't sure if I had a booking. Waiting outside the property in the pouring rain for 40mins before I got in. When I called they didn't pick up and there was no in the property to assist. The password gave was the wrong one initially and then messaged the right one after waiting for over 40mins. The toilet seat is right by a radiator and could sit properly as the heater continuesly touch you and heat burns. When we entered we had to clean the toilets as they were let dirty....
