"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes! The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained. There is a nearby terrace on the first floor next to the rooms where you can see Florence in the distance and also the gardens, patio and olive garden that surround the hotel. "This is the second time I've stayed at this property and once again it was a very rewarding experience. It's a family run hotel and there is a great deal of warmth toward customers. My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."
