"This apartment is beautiful, as well as comfortable and quiet—a true pleasure to come home to. It is located in our favorite part of Florence—Oltrarno. An easy walk to the major sites but happily tucked away from tourist crowds. This was our fourth trip to Florence and this apartment was our favorite by far. We loved exploring Florence from this location and were glad it was easy to walk to the train station when we went on day trips to Lucca and Bologna. There is an excellent grocery store...

"Very nice apartment and clean. We needed a check list for leaving and more bedding. Children next door were very loud until 1:00 a.m. almost every night. Bank close by, there were very few restaurants, grocery store a few blocks and if you want to feel the ambiance of Florence this apartment is too far from the action."

"My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

"Brilliant property. Hosts were excellent, very professional and this made us very confident straight from the initial booking. Beautiful apartment. Quite a few stairs so tricky if you are not mobile. Location was excellent. In the midst of the town without being overly noisy. Lots of musical performances just outside which we loved.wed love to return."

"Happy to recommend Simona's property. An excellent location as a base to visit the surrounding area and beyond...and just to walk out of the door and enjoy walks in the immediate locality. A very comfortable apartment to return to and spend time in... it's a great location in Aquilea. Supermarket close by... and a ' negozio alimentari' and bar in Aquilea ( unfortunately the owners went on holiday the day I arrived, so cannot comment further ). "Our visit could not have been better. Our hosts, Silvia and Luca, spent about 45 minutes with us at check in helping to understand the neighborhood. Apartment was sparking clean and very comfortable. Would have liked to be a bit closer to city center BUT we were able to use Uber successfully. Definitely recommend Casa Amelia! ❤️💛❤️💚❤️"

"Such an idyllic place. The house was spotlessly ckean, with everything we needed. There was plenty outside space, and swimming pool. We were staying there while we went to the Andrea Bocelli concert, our host, Alessandro, was fantastic, picking us up from the railway station and taking us to the concert, nothing was too much trouble He responded to questions and e mails, very quickly I would certainly recommend this place. We only stayed for a night but would have really enjoyed spending longer...

"Having stayed many times in apartments in Lucca I have to say that this apartment stands well above lots of others in standard, ambience and comfort. I was aware that it was three floors up, but these are the type of places I like. There was one small issue that cropped up and it was handled very well and courteously by the host family…on a Saturday!! And resolved by the same evening! This was very reassuring and made staying in their apartment even more special! I can highly recommend this...
