"Overall, it's a very nice maybe 3-star all-inclusive, at least for Cabarete (vs say Punta Cana). The room itself was clean and bed comfortable, but needs upgrade and repair - faucet was loose, screen door to patio was jammed, TV reception was unwatchable. Food was 2-star at the buffet, maybe 3-star at the reservation-only restaurants (of which you can only go to 3 times per week). But beach was great - no snorkeling, but perfect for playing in the surf, or watersports. I was there specifically...

"I only stay for one day on a 13 day vacation. The power went out for more than 12 hours. Furthermore, there was no plumbing when the power went off. No ability to wash your hands or flush the toilet. It felt like being in a “HotBox”!! The hostess said that the power was out city wide, However, in town there was no problem with the power.. I chose this location because of its reviews. Clearly they are not being honest about the reviews.. "
