"The building is old and it’s an unusual set up (weird giant wardrobes haha) but it’s absolutely fine for what you pay for. I stayed here with my 16yo son for two nights as we went to concerts both nights at Spark Arena. We parked up the car the whole time and could easily walk to shops, eating places and the concerts. Importantly, the facilities were clean and we were comfortable and my car was safe and secure in the provided park and that’s what mattered the most. Would definitely stay again...

"Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"
