Stayed 4 nights :Private room is adequate for solo person with tea/ coffee making facilities. There is No tv in room nor downstairs that l saw. There is No kitchen/Fridge either just a corner with a toaster & microwave. plenty of hot water & shared bathrooms always clean. Great location, No issues with drunks or late party noise. Easy access for bars etc. In K road & city with a park 2 mins away & a comedy club 3 mins away. Be aware deposit required in case of damage is a bit excessive @ $100. Overall for the price , location , comfy bed l would reccomend this hotel even tho it needs a refresh & yes l would stay here again if ever in nz

Rooms are appropriate for the price, cheap and dingy. However were relatively soundproof which was a happy discovery over a weekend. Shared bathrooms - showers are surprisingly good, if you don’t look at the peeling of the ceiling, however I have to say bathrooms were always clean. Good for location, and close to town.

The price was a bit steep for what you get. Shower was a little low so had to bend a little far to get the job done properly, at one point I needed more toilet paper that the housekeepers had failed to notice, the fridge half froze my coca colas and the restaurant was permanently closed. But comfortable enough bed, and at least there was a fridge in the room, my own bathroom and a fan!

Cheap room but then had to pay $48 for parking. No aircon, had a fan because it was hot. Stayed on the ground floor with cars parked right outside meaning car doors closing all hours and people talking. Shower was cold then burning hot - very intermittent. Wouldn’t recommend ground floor rooms. Good location though, close to lots of eateries and bars and bus stops near by.

Love location,vintage elevator,parking smoking area privided . Didnt like the rooms having no air conditioning, only had one fan ,other fan didnt work and was dirty ,some of the dishes were not clean aswell ,but rest of room was awesome x will stay again
