"It's worth the price"

"I stayed at two temples in Koyasan and this one was much inferior to the first one. They do not serve any meals. The staff was not very welcoming and cordial. They only offer one option to bath at night and nothing the morning. They also only offer one temple experience in the AM at 6:30. They were not helpful to assist visitors to determine where to sit and how to participate in the service. Would suggest you do your research in choosing a temple. The price was very good and I guess one gets...

"Total relaxation and we'll needed downtime. The staff at this were wonderful and welcoming. The area was beautiful, the hotel looks out onto sweeping mountain landscape. We enjoyed the indoor onsen and slept soundly in our traditional accommodations. The food was very impressive, so carefully presented and delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner here but also tried some restaurants with walking distance that did not disappoint. A remarkable experience, thank you for your hospitality. "

"The hotel is pas its prime and needs either a major renovation or a sunset. Too many things are falling apart or feel abandoned."

"とにかく素晴らしいです！南朝時代の皇居として使用された堀家の母家に隣接する離れに泊まれるのですから。内部は綺麗にリノベーションされてますし、とても快適です。離れの横、母家の横には川が流れてますので、そのせせらぎや、カジカガエルの声が聞こえてきて、とても情緒があります。泊まった日は、はからずも満月でしたので、広々としたお風呂に入り、その窓から月と川を眺めておりました。心の底から癒されるひと時でした。お風呂は家族で入れる大きさなので、ゆったりできます。ホテルの周りには人がいませんので、夜になると川の音しかしません。庭に出て自然の音に包まれながら、満月を愛でつつお酒を飲む最高の時間。魂の洗濯が出来た気がしました。また、当主の堀様も品のある素敵な方で、さすが代々続いてこられたお家柄だと感動しました。歴史好きな方は是非、またそうでない方でも、きっと満足出来るホテルだと思います。今回は食事無しでしたので、それだけが心残りですね。次回は是非、食事もしてみたいと思いました。ありがとうございました！"

"Mr.Nakamori is very nice and will pick you up from the train station to take you to the house. It is in a very peaceful and quiet residential area, you can experience the feeling of living in Japan! Everything was very clean and comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here!"
