"We were in Lake Placid for the World Championships for Bobsled and Skeleton. We arrived in foggy and rainy conditions and had an issue with slippery conditions. The staff was excellent in attending to our concerns. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was big and had everything we needed. "Two night winter get-away. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's right on the lake and main Lake George strip. The main hotel is clean and the staff were excellent including the restaurant/bar staff. A few minor quibbles include adding some technology updates in the rooms including USB and/or outlets near the beds. The suites could also benefit from a second TV in the sitting area.
