"This property is on a busy street. Make sure to request a room that does not face the street or you will be awakened at 3am with folks outside opening shops and preparing to open the street market. Front desk associates were nice and helpful (when possible). The cleanliness of this hotel was average - the sheets and bathroom were usable but not top notch."

"The Landlord lady, (Ireny) was very friendly, with always the greatest humor. Extra accomodating she goes the extra mile to help you have a great stay in every aspects! (She Even went out with you to show me some places, explore my gym options, set up my telephone line, where to go for currency exchange etc). Very chatty (but only in portuguese, so great for those who want to practice), but also very respectful of privacy. Amenities are very basic, but rooms and bathroom are clean, breakfast...

"Amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the receptionists to the lady preparing breakfast, to the cleaning staff. The rooftop is a great place to read, relax, work, wifi is working very well. Clean shared spaces, clean rooms. Only blot, the bedsheets which I found with marks, although clearly washed. It would be perfect if the sheets and pillowcases were new. Convenient location, just steps from the road where buses are."

"Excellent location, in the heart of Barra, very close to the beach. Located in a quiet street, not too much traffic noise. We stayed the week before Carnaval, and street party noise was acceptable. The building is very secure, 24hr security. Manager is very helpful. Rooms are clean, Air Conditioning is excellent. The kitchen has a fridge and microwave which are useful. There is limited housekeeping, but we asked to change the towels and basic cleaning was no problem. We had a wonderful...

"It is cheap but is not explained or described what it really is. First I thought is a room with private bathroom not shared with the entire family. The room is so small but the issue is the bathroom should had been cleaner. There was no hot water. Location is great 2’ to the beach and the area feels safe. Tina and her mum are kind and helpful but they need to describe what they really offer so the choice can be straight forward. "

Sentimos falta de mais tomada pra carregar o celular, mas demos um jeito com a do banheiro e a da tv. "Genuinely one of the most jarring stays I’ve ever had to date. Don’t believe the pictures; the air conditioned comfort penthouse advertised does not have windows in the walls of the apartment, and was barely ‘indoors’ much less ‘air conditioned’. There is a single room with air conditioning. The room itself has a broken window that does not enable to close the window which makes the air conditioning pointless.
