"The property is clean and in a good location... The rooms are small & there are ants in the room. The reception is friendly but slow. Pretty typical for Latin America. The pool is very clean and modest in size, but there is no place to lay out and no furniture to do it on."

"Very comfortable place to stay in Panajachel. Right next to a restaurant so super convenient for excellent food. The garden view room curtains don’t really afford you privacy as they are kind of see-through. WiFi was available but didn’t work once while I was staying here so I relied completely on my phone’s data plan for internet. Receptionists very friendly and allowed me to keep my luggage there after check out."

"The hostel is located right at the base of Santa Cruz which made it super easy to grab the lanchas. My friend and I stayed in a private suite which was really nice and cozy. The grounds of the hostel itself are stunning and so relaxing! They host family-style dinner's every night which was so wholesome and was a great way to meet new people. The only cons I will say is that there's only wifi in the common spaces, and wifi doesn't reach the rooms. Other than that, I loved my stay! "

"It was great in the begining, they offer unlimited coffee (bad quality but unlimited). And they are very friendly. When paying time came, they took almost twice the price of my reservation and they didn't even give me any receipt. "

"I had a lovely stay here. As a single women traveling alone I felt very safe at this location. It was close enough to walk into the city for meals, shopping, and exploring. The boat dock is also within walking distance if you want to explore other towns. I was served coffee and breakfast every morning on the dock which was delicious. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Some of them even spoke english which I found uncommon around the lake. Highly recommend staying in one of the two...

"The hotel itself was lovely, but our door was hard to close. You had to really slam it for it to lock. It would have been nice to have coffee and breakfast available in the morning. I had to go out and try to find coffee in fhe morning. Most other places in the area offer free breakfast included in the price of the room. Otherwise it was nice. "
