"This was a family Christmas getaway. The hotel is on the river and we could view the Christmas lights on the other side. The staff were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to use the breakfast area in the evenings to play games with the family and have snacks while we visited. (Of course , we cleaned up after ourselves before going to bed) We enjoyed our stay and the quiet scenic view and tranquil atmosphere. "

"Loved the location and view of the lake. The proximity to the state parks made it perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking. "

"It was just a room, with good a/c, a decent shower, and lots of outside traffic noise.. No frills, and thats ok, because we were looking for a one night get away, with 2 beds. Did not appear to be 2 queen size, one looked like a full size. That was ok, too.. Almost $100 after taxes and fees. "

"Fine overall; however it was off putting that the hotel reception acted unsure if the room was ready, blamed the system for not being updated, said housekeeping was being unresponsive but did go check to see that it was ready. This was all an hour and a half past check in time, so it was disconcerting that reception was unaware if its rooms were ready."
