"The apartment I was given was clean, well equipped and had an amazing view…not sure if this ‘view’ is guaranteed so I will refrain from saying what the view was but you can guess. Couldn’t fault the accommodation we were placed in. Nice to see the apartment block had a quiet time (10pm till 6am) this was respected when we were there so we had 4 good night sleeps. "

"Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful. The only glitch was that I booked this stay with OneKeyCash, and hotels.com (i.e., expedia) took my money and gave me a receipt showing no balance due, but then didn't actually pay the hostel! "Una notte ed una risveglio meravigliosi!! Uno chalet magico, curato nei dettagli, romantico e accogliente, con una colazione ricca allestita direttamente in stanza, in vero stile montano. "The room was next to a busy road, but I was able to sleep well because of tiredness. Anyone walking the Via Francigena should be tired enough to sleep through an explosion. 😇 It’s only 9 mins walk from the train station (bus-substitute trains run often.)
