"We were a little late when booking hotels for Porto de Galinhas and hence chose this hostel. It was an OK stay but not more. We had a private room which was clean overall, however, our bedsheets were dirty. Upon request, they were replaced. The water temperature could not be regulated but as it was hot outside the temperature fit our needs. "O flat maravilhoso com todos os utensílios de cozinha me senti em casa. Apenas a limpeza que estava ruim. Como fui com criança eu sempre olho em baixo da cama e sofá para ver se está tudo ok, lá esta com poeira e com areia espalhada pelo flat é como se alguém que esta antes chegou da praia e não foi feito a limpeza para nossa estadia. Como cheguei tarde umas 19h estava sem paciência para chamar atenção dos funcionários. Fora isso. Foi maravilhoso. Recomendo e vou voltar com certeza. "

"This was a small family hotel. They looked after us well. WiFi was available but signal not strong and intermittent. Language was also an issue for us as we didn’t have much Portuguese and they only had one staff member with any English. "I definitely recommend staying in Porto de Galinhas over Pecife. It is a beautiful beach town and Recife is a large. unfriendly city. Positives: Great buffet breakfast with many options Very supportive and nice hotel staff Pretty courtyard Easy beach access Negatives: Very far from town center (40 minute walk or 20 BRL cab ride), which meant I had to spend money to reach the town center because it isn't a safe walk at night No hot water for shower Bed was not too comfortable"
