"A very sketchy area. We couldn’t even go in to check into the hotel. We had to do it from a window. It was late at night and the hotel receptionist wouldn’t let us in. It’s probably one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed in. Tv remote didn’t work. Very noisy. And overall super sketchy. I slept with my pepper spray under my pillow. No. I’m not joking. I do not recommend. "

"We love those 1950s style hotels. Small, affordable, and tons of character. Location of Palms is perfect. We’ve stayed in Delray, Deerfield, and Boca. Compared to these places, Pompano seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Entire blocks are being torn down and high rise developments are going in. The beaches were pretty, the public areas were exceptionally maintained. Tons of restaurants and coffee spots. The staff at Palms was very attentive. The grounds looked freshly updated and...

"Great stay, quiet, clean and easy to get to grocery store, convenient store and tourist attractions. Everything needed to cook dish and pot wise was available. I had trouble with door lock but the staff was easily accessible and assisted quickly. "
