"Hotel is newly renovated. Beautiful nautical style rooms. Great pool outback with intercoastal view. Pool is heated. They are renovating a restaurant on property. But have a great seaside bar with food, which was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. Can do taco Tuesday. $10 for two tacos and $10 house margaritas. Also have the Water Taxi that stops there if you want to catch a ride on that."

"We love those 1950s style hotels. Small, affordable, and tons of character. Location of Palms is perfect. We’ve stayed in Delray, Deerfield, and Boca. Compared to these places, Pompano seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Entire blocks are being torn down and high rise developments are going in.
