"Overall good and very affordable, stayed in passing because im traveling, doing lots of driving. And the self check-in didnt work so had to check-in at the desk but other than that its clean, everything is in mostly good condition except a couple things but wasnt a big deal; and friendly & helpful staff. Also the breakfast, thats always nice. Good for a short stay."

"It seems that they have cleaned this hotel up a bit. The front desk staff was very nice, I wish I had gotten her name to put her. She spoke everytime we walked by. Rooms were clean and comfie. The breakfast was great and the lady doing that was amazing as well. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Our family had never been to Smith Mountain Lake VA and chose to come last minute because our planned trip to the NC mountains was canceled due to the hurricane. This house was PERFECT for our multi generational family from age 2 to 81! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and so very comfortable. "It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I.
