"Our stay was perfect in every way except one. The hotel lobby was amazing & beautiful. We loved the layout. Breakfast was very good. The room was very clean, comfy & nice. Better than we expected. This is one of the best Quality Inn's we have stayed in. We were here for nearly a week, loved it. One exception we didn't like was our first night, there were 6 stink bugs on the walls. "I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cabin was so peaceful and perfect that we ended up not even leaving. Just took a couple days to rest/relax/recharge. The absolute perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We racked our brains trying to think of anything the host could have done differently or better to make things more enjoyable and we couldn’t come up with anything. Just perfect."

"Stayed here with 6 of my friends. There is tons of places to sleep. Allowed use of the blackstone, grill and fire pit. Loved using the kayaks, paperboards and lily pad. Great proximity to mangos, a fun bar with live music. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family had never been to Smith Mountain Lake VA and chose to come last minute because our planned trip to the NC mountains was canceled due to the hurricane. This house was PERFECT for our multi generational family from age 2 to 81! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and so very comfortable. The kitchen was an amazing gathering space and very well stocked. Living areas are super comfortable for people of all ages. We rented a boat from the marina and played putt putt and had ice cream...

"Would not recommend. The gentleman at the desk was nice. I was in the shower when the cleaning lady unlocked the door and started coming in. I yelled that there was someone in the room. I thought it was my husband til I heard the female. This was at 8:30 in the morning. We reserved a smokefree room and it smelled horrible of smoke. Beds very uncomfortable, shower was off putting. We left a day early because of the issues. Never again for us."
