"Excellent place to stay in Aoraki Mt Cook Nat'l Park with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. We appreciated the on site laundry, lounge areas, and the sauna! Dining options are limited in the park (~3 restaurants). Even though they're all good, you may want to plan ahead and bring groceries to take advantage of the communal kitchen area at the hostel. Helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. We loved our experience here!"

"Mixing with other people in communal areas, free coffee machine, Brollies available for wet weather. Discount at partner restaurants was appreciated. Fans provided to help with the heat. However as our room was above the communal bathroom we were disturbed as people forgot to switch off the light/extractor fan when they left which caused noise and vibration of the fan in our room."

"This hotel is brilliantly situated on beautiful Lake Tekapo. I was glad I paid for a lake view - it was so worth it. The room was simple and a bit shabby but had everything I needed for one night, and I was able to park very close. I would definitely stay again. "
