"I was hesitant for a long time about booking a hostel, but my first experience proved me wrong! Maybe it was beginner's luck—who knows? The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre, located in a quiet and safe area. I booked a room in a flat, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and cosy it was, especially the bathroom, which was very well-maintained. The pub has a lovely vintage design that enhances your experience. Although there weren't many pizza options, the ones I tried...

Only downside for us is that the walls seem pretty thin so we could hear outside noise when there was some. To be expected in an old building. All in all, we had a very nice time in Ghent it is a great city."
