"The service wasn’t BEYOND excellent!! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got there but was greeted with ice water, cookies, tea and coffee 24/7. The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. And the small little couch on the window made it roomy enough for my children to space themselves out. From now on, it’s Microtel and Marriott for me!! Thank you very much to the staff for everything! My children and I greatly appreciate you all and we will be back. "

I decided at that time that I would not stay again; however, the more recent reviews were much better than the same timeframe last year, so we gave it another try. Our stay was quite pleasant this time. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. But on this visit, the rug was a little dirty when I came to my room and the entire hallway smells like marijuana. And there was something in the hallway banging on someone’s door. However, generally speaking this is a good place to stay at Geneseo. And the staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. "
