It’s about 2 miles from Parish Hill Event Barn so if you have a wedding to go to there it’s a great place to book if you don’t want to drive home after. If you don’t have an SUV/truck, the driveway up might be a bit difficult as it’s quite uneven with large rocks and I did not see pictures of it in the listing or see that mentioned in the description. "Cute cottage brought me back to my childhood cottage on the lake, but instead this was tucked away in the woods. The road is close, but you cannot see it or hear it as the house is set back. It served our needs & close to area's we wanted to visit. There was a note saying enjoy our complimentary bottle of wine which we could not find, but This was ok because we had plenty. "We loved the house, the setting, the facilities, and the space for 10 adults. The water developed a sulfur smell the more we used. I figured the owner couldn’t do much about that, so we bought drinking water and told him about it when we left in case he didn’t know. He said they recently switched from reservoir water to a well. "Overwhelmed by the beauty! If you think it looks good in the pictures, it is even better in person! This truly was the perfect place for us. Plenty of room to be all together eating or relaxing. All but 4 of our group of 20 took a turn in the hot tub. All questions were answered quickly and on our last night there was a snow storm but, the following morning the owner was there to plow out the driveway.
