"Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. Had an issue with a key for one of the doors and someone came within 10mins to help me (outside business hours). "If you are looking for a hotel directly in Portimao (rather than near the beach), there are not many options. Made Inn hotel is close to both, train and bus stations, and also close to all amenities, shops, shopping centres etc. Simple decor, but clean and very nice and helpful staff."

"There were 3 good things about this property: 1. Great range of restaurants around this location. 2. Boat trips, water taxi is within walking distance. 3. Excellent service thanks to Liudmila. On the dark side , the beach is around 35 min walk, there was no air conditioner (had two fans instead), facilities was very basic and rooms are small. Overall was good for the price."

"Very social hostel and a great place to meet people! I loved the events they had and the rooftop pool was a plus, especially in the hot summer heat. Good location to walk everywhere."

"Overall great stay. Look u pay what u get!! Like the pool overlooks carpark.. super central location. Rooms had a smell but again for all we payed well worth it. Not perfect like u can tell it was done on the cheaper side regards renovation but still modern and nicer than most other hotels I’ve stayed in.. overall great experience and I would stay here again.
