"We were in need of urgent accommodation as the Shinkansen was suspended due to rain so we quickly booked one night at the Smile Hotel Hiroshima. I am so glad we did! Beautiful and large room with a lovely bathroom. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and even rung our accommodation to inform them that we would be a day late. "Great budget accommodation. I stayed in a medium cube. Sufficient space for my stuff. Clean throughout. They provide ear plugs because there is that possibility. Near lots of food and lots of drinks."

"If all you want is someplace to sleep, then this may be OK. They do not clean the room while you are. They ask you to put the trash and towels outside your room for pick-up. Place is old, with some rooms having peeling paint on walls. Room was quiet and wifi was good. "

"My family and I absolutely loved everything about the apartment. It had exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort and size. The beds were very comfortable (for us as we like our mattresses firmer), and the bathroom amazing. The kitchen had all of the necessary equipment to prepare and enjoy meals. Our apartment was on the 7th floor and fhe view from the balcony was nice. We felt safe in the area day/night. The only downside and what I found a bit silly was that we had arrived...

"An amazing property, we were very well looked after from start to finish. Food and service was great, staff helped cooking traditional Japanese meals in buffet restaurant. We had previous poor reviews, but we certainly could not find fault in any part of our stay. We would return without hesitation."
