"I stayed one night, next morning the smell of sewerage from the bathroom drain was horrendous. I left the hotel immediately . The stairs to the top floors are steep & dangerous . Not a pleasant experience ."

I spent a night there before heading north to the beach and my room had lots of character with beautiful sculpted wood furnishings. The bathroom was not renovated, unlike the room itself. It was functional but not inviting. No bottled water was provided which would be nice at least to brush your teeth (can’t drink the water in Zanzibar). The mosquito net had some holes in it. "My main challenge is that on Orbitz I booked and paid for a 3 bedroom villatogether with flights. The property only has double rooms. I could notb find anyone to talk to at Orbitz only a virtual assistant. I was unable to explain my predicament. I ended up taking 3 doubles which actually doubled my cost. The hotel told me it is a mistake on the Orbitz website!!!!"

"Likes: Quiet, clean, friendly staff, and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Dislikes: It's located next to a preschool, so six days out of the week, it is your alarm clock. If you are looking to be pampered, this place is not for you. "
