"Basic hotel, rooms have great views but most things seemingly done on the cheqp and falling apart (our back gate fell off its hinges and plunge pool drained on its own) Lots of stray dogs (harmless) and good for fishing off the rocks. Cannot swim in the sea"

"Not what I expected or that was shown on website. Booked for 2 nights but the first night there was no room available, but this was due to Expedia. The hotel did manage to find me a room elsewhere which was actually much better than their own rooms. Will not stay there again nor make use of Expedia again"

"The gem of a place is beautiful in blue and white reminding me of a Swiss chalet in some ways. Staff is very helpful. The assistant manager helped me with a limo to Pattaya which will take me straight to our hotel there. Had one dinner here and food was great. Breakfasts are amazing. Lots of good food and options to order off the menu for eggs and other things. Enjoyed a swim in the pool one day. We extended our stay here for four nights. Walkable to restaurants and shops and the pharmacy....

"If you want to get away from Bangkok this is the closest, there are not many tourists, lots of landmarks to see and the prperty is run by great hosts. I will return"

"Basic hotel, but overpriced even for basic. We weren't in the high rise building. Weird bathroom setup; huge room for sink but no place to hang anything, needs hooks or shelves, then small toilet/shower space. Water sprayer by toilet leaked from hose in a few places so they had it turned it off instead of fixing. When water valve turned on, water sprayed all over in different directions. We found a 2 inch scorpion in the corner of shower at 2 am & had to kill it since it wouldn't wash down the...

"We love Charlie's, we feel at home here. The staff is so friendly & willing to help. We had our bathing suits draped on the porch to dry & they had set up a drying rack for us without us asking which was so nice! The property is so clean & manicured. The room is clean. The only thing missing are hooks to hang the towels, maybe also more shelves. "

"After a complete false start with another hotel denying booking this one was arranged by Expedia. However the same happened but the hotel owner seeing we had children said we must stay. 🙏 thank you.
