"Overall it is a lovely place. Parking was a challenge as well as the steps. We were disappointed how small the place was given our past US experiences."

"The room was fine, and it has a great view of the river. The odd thing was that the heater was right next to the head of the bed, and it blows quite hard right in your face! We had to turn it off for the night, and so room got a bit chilly. It warmed up ok in the morning. "

"My mother in law actually had a fall in the bathroom and Alejandra at the Fairfield in the Dalles went out of her way to help us get to her as her room was locked because she threw the latch. Despite that happening we had a pleasant stay there. Just remember to put rubber mats in the handicapped bathrooms. :) Great service!"
