"Quite a nice stay at Guesthouse Fuga. The lady owner is lovely and the included breakfast was good too. Twin room with air con quite spacious and there is a desk and chair, a couple of coathangers. Just me but if you had 2 people sharing- 1 person gets a bed, the other person gets a fold out bed. I slept fine and area very quiet. A parking spot at the front door is excellent. All rooms are upstairs so you need to be able to walk up about 15 stairs. 1 toilet and 1 washbasin upstairs but I didn't...

"This was the most pleasantly surprising hotel that packs a punch well above it's rating. The hotel is very clean with friendly service, amenities, and great breakfast! The room was extremely spacious, closer to north american sized rooms than Japanese. The room was very clean and towels were replaced daily. Wifi worked reliably and I would stay again in the future"

"Very clean hotel. The building almost feels more like a small university dorm than a traditional business hotel. The staff doesn't speak much English, so make sure you have at least a rudimentary level of Japanese or a translation device if you're staying here, but they are very helpful and friendly. Of note, there are no elevators or escalators in this hotel, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs if you're staying on the second floor. If you have mobility issues, I would recommend...

The lighting in bathroom was so dim it was impossible to have a bath with the door closed as would be in darkness. There were polystyrene panels blocking up a wall from our room to next door, which meant we could hear everything that was going on, and vice versa. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, but we were only able to have it at 8.00...
