"Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

Come by car if you can since most of the good hiking/sightseeing spots aren't easily accessible by foot, although the hotel does have a useful shuttle service to and from Tanazawako station.
