"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...

"Although a little compact this apartment had everything we needed for one night stay en route to a cruise holiday. The decor was modern clean and crisp and the property was well insulated away from any noise. It is a two minute walk to Eastgate car park which is the cheapest Car park in Southampton for long-term stays. It’s a £6 Uber ride from the property to Southampton dock so all in all it is a very inexpensive way to visit and stay in Southampton. "

"In Southampton for a launch Night, Accommodation was perfect for the little time i would be there. Had everything i needed, plus oven, hob and fridge with own bathroom. Everyone friendly and price was amazing. Tea coffee milk supplied and bathroom delights very happy traveller."

"When we arrived, he wasn't sure if I had a booking. Waiting outside the property in the pouring rain for 40mins before I got in. When I called they didn't pick up and there was no in the property to assist. The password gave was the wrong one initially and then messaged the right one after waiting for over 40mins. The toilet seat is right by a radiator and could sit properly as the heater continuesly touch you and heat burns. When we entered we had to clean the toilets as they were let dirty....

"This is not an elegant guest house. However, I was very pleased to stay there for two reasons that put it above big hotels. We arrived about 10am after an international overnight flight. Ordinary check-in time would be 3pm. The hostess greeted us with a smile and said of course, she would get our room ready first. In 30 minutes we were resting in our room The next morning we had breakfast made to our specific preference in the quaint dining room. You never get that in a large hotel. One last...

"We had a lovely time here with our 2 year old for two nights. We stayed in the Bluebell Pod which was so cosy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the woods and the animals. Many thanks. Hope to come again next year! "
