"Great stay, was here for business, and have stayed here a few times previously The breakfasts are great, and the rooms and hotel itself is really clean, although might need a refurb at some point. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Did not have evening meals here as we ate out due to everything being in such close proximity to the hotel. "

"We have just got back from an incredible stay at the Winchester Spa Hotel. From the moment we stepped through the entrance till the time we checked out. The reception staff were polite and helpful, the foyer was beautiful decorated. Our room was close to the spa which was an excellent location. We stayed 1 night to go to the Christmas market, wished we’d have had 2 nights though. The town is a 10 min walk with lots of nice bars and restaurants. We had brunch at Kavi Coffee which I can highly recommend and also a drink at the Cabinet Rooms again excellent. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was amazing and well presented. Lovely staff. We enjoyed the spa which was fairly quiet considering it was a busy Christmas weekend, so able to use the jacuzzi, sauna and pool, and the beautiful relaxation room. Which had drinks and fruit provided. I can honestly say the whole weekend was amazing. Parking is provided at a cost. A lovely surprise was a voucher towards a drink per room. Not sure how long the offer would be on for though. I can highly recommend the hotel and Winchester itself for a weekend break. "

"Nice modern hotel with everything we needed. Location wise it’s a 15 minute walk from Basingstoke train station but it was an easy enough walk. The area around is very quiet. Overall, no issues."
