"Good access to snow field"

"The surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate included breakfast which was nice. However, this is an all-smoking room hotel - contrary to what it’s listed as. There was no noticeable odor in the room, but might not be the same for all. And they’re having trouble with the hot spring source so there’s no onsen water to the room balcony baths (my main reason for booking), and their regular hot spring will be sometimes closed. That was the most disappointing part. "

"The outside of the buildings looked a little old, but inside, it was very clean and very comfortable with an impressive amount of helpful appliances for food and temperature/humidity comfort. The shower and bedroom were particularly nice. I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. "新しいオーナーさん方は一生懸命取り組まれていると感じました。 築年数から老朽化している部分は仕方がないと思いますが、泊まった部屋が浴室の上のせいか、夜遅くに入浴者がいなくなるまでそうおんに堪えねばなりません。 宿泊者の品行に寄りますが、自分が宿泊した日は残念ながら、ドアの開け閉め、廊下や階段の歩き方、廊下で話す声のトーンなど、散々な目にあいました。チェックイン時にマナー的なことを周知して下さると良いと思いました。 "
