"I was in a position where my flight was departing at 00:40, and i didn't want to hang about an airport for 4 or 5 hrs with no place to relax. Overall very good experience. Choice of to types of pods, first class and business class pod. First class is good as you can keep your luggage with you and the bed is slightly bigger. "We paid $270 per night for this hotel. We were given the only room on the entrance floor of the hotel. So all we could hear was everyone coming in and out of the hotel, the lockers being opened up to place ones shoes in in the foyer, the cars on the road (our window was on the street). "和歌山駅からすごく近いです。グランドホテル和歌山の6階に入り口があります。近くに近鉄やNIO コンビニなど買い物にも不自由しません。室内は綺麗です。女性エリアの利用者は海外の方が多かったです。ワイドタイプの部屋を選んだので室内にスーツケースも広げられて過ごしやすかったです。"

"Good value for money. The name is very deceptive, as the hotel is on a canal that leads to an industrial harbor. The room is very large with a 5 star bathroom. The air conditioning and lighting were good but very hard to figure out, as there were no English instructions."

"The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who tended to us last night. He was very patient and especially helpful to our multiple queries and tried his best to help. We were very grateful for his sincerity in wanting to help. Recommended us to a wonderful place for dinner too which we enjoyed tremendously. The view from our room is fantastic! Thank you for everything! "

"I would not recommend this place, since there is no personnel at the hotel to manage the guests. We were there for one night and we got woke up a few times buy people yelling in the accomodation We were in room 101 which is next to the living room/kitchen and the entry, probably the worst room. I had to get up and tell some guest to stop yelling at each other. We were woken up by people at midnight, 2am , 4 am and 7am. People were rude and were not respecting any rules from the managers.... "

"Property is not suitable for inclement weather - we stayed during winter when wind speed was high, the cabin was shaking and banging through the night, could not get any sleep. Owners should recognise this, and close the facility during inappropriate seasons even if it means losing business "

"Very close to the train station. And the department stores and restaurants just above the station. My room has an private washrooms, but no fridge. It's a typical old style Japanese businessman hotel where most rooms has no private lavatory and fridge. And one needs to use the shared one on the hallway. And there's a public bath."
