"There was a $100 deposit, but they automatically deducted $5.00 for desk services. SURPRISE!!! Both the deposit and subsequent deduction was a complete surprise, neither of which I appreciated. Also, we stayed 3 nights, but our room was not cleaned on oue first full day. That again was a surprise. I will not stay there again!"

"Hotel was comfortable, room clean and spacious, staff courteous. Breakfast was mostly inedible; cold omelets, watery gravy, hard crumbs for biscuits. Coffee dispensers were empty. "

"The room was warm; clean; outdated, but look at the price value. It was a huge savings so that I could afford meals at Paula Deen's and the Apple House, Mel's Diner, and Holstons. Pillow top mattresses and plump pillows would have been nice; but It served its purpose. The manager came up to my room and reset the tv; and gave me the password for the internet. I was perfectly fine with the room."

"We loved the location of this hotel because we like to be away from the business of the tourist area. There is a wonderful creek running in front and we lucked out with a gorgeous sunny winter day - we walked along the creek and watched two ducks and a flock of geese. We also took a walk around the grounds, which was nice after a 4-1/2 hour car ride. Having the kitchen was very convenient as we like to travel with food, water and snacks. "Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Conveniently located right off 81. Breakfast has a nice selection of food choices, but, skip the eggs. They are very watery and bland. My last stay here found many maintenance issues, which all seem to be completed. Still believe pet fees are high. "
