"Authentic stay in a traditional Japanese guesthouse. We had a fantastic view over Onomichi and a comfortable and cosy room for 2 of us. There are a good amount of steps to get there but it’s worth the climb to be amongst the temples. The facilities were great, had everything we needed and clean. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the cafe space was aesthetic with lots of books to read whilst taking in the view and we were able to sit and eat our own food there. "

The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. "Immaculate and private. Apple map location was not correct. It is located about 2.5 km on the main highway southwest of Kamiurachoseto which is great but was difficult to find without this info. Well worth the hunt. Best location we have ever stayed in. Will be back!"

"I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit.
