"A bit run down around the edges but everything was there that was needed and worked. My mattress/nights sleep was as comfortable as any hotel I’ve stayed in lately.You can see that they are working on rooms as well. Late booking so would normally have stayed in more central hotel.For price point I would stay here again for 1 night stay."

"It wasnt a bad stay fair for the price could of had an extra pillow or 2 but never the less it was some where to get your head down worth it i slept like a baby kids slept well as we had the family room 2 sinhle beds and one huge king size bed in the middle "

"Best part was the comfy bed, 🙂 had a good nights sleep. Worse part was the state of the bathroom and bedroom. Needs plenty of TLC in fact it all does. Hotel advertising bar but it was closed on arrival at 2.30pm and after going out to explore Southport, the hotel was in darkness at 9.30pm so no night cap then 😔 but for the price, we got what we paid for "

"Great place to stay but my room was freezing, we arrived after 6 , i think the rooms could have been warmed up before hand, so not a good start. The staff are very friendly and as a pensioner and no lift i was offered a down stairs room. The pub opposite was very handy for an evening meal and drinks. On the whole a good, clean, family place to stay, but please warm your rooms while it’s so cold. Myself and my family thought it was good value."

"Lovely stay. The bar downstairs was really busy and had a good atmosphere. We didn’t eat there but the menu looked good. Bar closed at 11pm so it didn’t disturb sleep. Short Uber / taxi ride into Manchester City. "

"The best place to stay in Preston. A hidden gem, great value for money. 10-12 minutes walk from the station, the room that I stayed in was very tidy and clean. Host is very friendly and good with responding to messages, clear instructions on checking in. Will definitely come back if I ever need to stay in Preston."

"The Imperial isn't a 5 star hotel, but its clean, the staff are friendly, its in a great location, and provides you a great base to go and see/do whatever it is you're doing in Salford or Manchester. With the train station across the road you can get into the city centre, or further out into Greater Manchester. McDonalds for breakfast. Free parking too!"
