"We drove in from Amsterdam so parking across the street at a reasonable daily rate was much appreciated. Located amidst numerous restaurants and within minutes from the Grand Plaza was also a plus. But the best attribute of this hotel is its staff. One of their best is Betty Kwakala who turned what would have been a disastrous vacation for us into a happy and wonderful journey. "

"Ok hotel spacious rooms. Good size bathhroom with walk in shower. View of immediate buildings or walls from room window not so great. Carpet was not clean and had a smell. Bed comfortable and good size. Busy check in area as in same area as bar so for logistical not well located in hotel. Location of hotel reasonable - taxis can take some time to arrive. Good breakfast buffet selection in spacious dining area. Overall good "

"Great location, room is basic with no TV etc but that didn't bother me as I was out a lot so wasn't spending any time really at the hotel. Clean room, good shower and bed was comfy enough. My only issue was the lack of air con, I was very warm and found it difficult to sleep and you can't open the windows to cool the room down. "

The staff was friendly and provided lots of local info. There wasn't too much to do near the hotel, but it was a good base away from the city center. "The hotel itself is amazing! Extremely well done and the ambience is top notch. Our room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant was very rude and we witnessed multiple other guests complaining to the staff while we were there. It definitely impacted our experience dining at the Hoxton."
