"The hotel was ok, rooms were fine, breakfast was good, friendly staff. It's a little bit away from the main tourist sights (20-30 mins walk). It is a very basic hotel though, e.g. no water in the room, not even a cup or glass to drink tap water or brush your teeth. I thought it was fairly expensive for the type of hotel it was. But there is nothing wrong with it, it's fine, comfortable, no issues."

"The entrance experience is not great. Feels not safe and security on room doors is also low. It is in the station area which is convenient but more could be done to make the entrance feel more welcoming and secure. Carpeting should be removed as it is not fresh. Top points for newly renovated bathrooms and size of rooms and also bright breakfast room with good choice."

"This is the first place I'd recommend if you have a short stay in Hamburg and really just need a place to sleep. It's a great location (less than 5 minutes from the train station, and right across the street from the lake). The rooms are small but clean, we didn't have any noise from inside or outside the hotel, and service was helpful and friendly. Great option at a decent price."

"I stayed here for Ironman Hamburg. The prices were lower than elsewhere and the location was convenient. The hotel and room are basic and the area outside isn’t the most inviting BUT it is very clean and well kept inside and the staff do everything to make you feel at home. It was a little hot in my room so I asked for a fan and it was provided. Overall a simple but clean and functional stay. Thank you!"
