"When we visited the Walkhampton arms ,it was out of season . The breakfast was excellent and evening meals were very good . The bedroom we had was lacking a mirror near a plug for my wife to dry her hair . Also we had the feeling that it was work in progress with regards the approach ( Staircas and corridor) to the bedrooms . "

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"Our hosts Leigh and Vicky were very welcoming and the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like a borrow or swap books area and a bucket & spade library for guests to use in the summer months. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared to our exact request. If we're down this way again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you."
